Solve : Hardware profiles/User accounts? |
|
Answer» My questions are pretty simple. And user accounts: some programs have an option during setup to install for only one user. If they don't, is there a way to uninstall it for user C but still have it installed for user D?Not to my knowledge. When you install a piece of software for "all users" it just means the shortcuts will be PLACED in the All Users folder, making them visible to all users. I believe all the settings that have to do with look and feel of windows is on a per user basis. While others such as the ones in the Group policy editor can be global. The settings for your NIC are also global as far as I know. The mouse should work in bot and if it doesnt you would have to install it again for that profile i think...?OK, it looks complicated. And if I don't know exactly what will change between profiles, I can't be bothered to spend all my time finding out what changes and what doesn't. Thansk for your help guys, I think I'll just stick with my 1 hardware profile and 1 user ACCOUNT. |
