Answer» Had a virus hit windows xp couple years ago and it crashed but I managed to get everything running again. Only problem is that there seems to be 2 of everything now. I cant figure out what I did nor which to delete. QUESTION is, if i add another hard DRIVE and transfer most of my software and information to it, can I wipe the original hard drive, start over, and RETRANSFER all the material. I assume you intend to format and reinstal your OS on the original hard drive so the answer is Yes, but all your programs will also need to be reinstalled not just copied. |
