Solve : Have a system error message? |
|
Answer» HELLO all you awesome guys and gals! I'm always in awe that you computer gurus can do what you do. Me, I'm a nurse. Simple. I've been having periotic error messages of different types. But, today it got real BAD and I did a SYSTEM Restore. That came back and said to go do some troubleshooting. I did and this is the message I got back: "A service is reported as having an unexpected error code Cause: One or more services has failed. The service did not stop gracefully, suggesting the service may have crashed or one of its components stopped in an unsupported way. Details: Service exited with code not equal to 0 or 1077 Resolution: Restart the service" I have no clue what that means, if it's serious or not or what to think. Can one of you help? Thanks! What kind of hardware do you have?Click on Start Menu. Open RUN. Type mmc devmgmt.msc and press Enter. You'll get a window called Device Manager. Explore each one of the devices and CHECK if there is any exclamatory icon on the device. If yes, post a screenshot of that window. Device manager has nothing to do with services not starting. |
