Solve : having problems with my windows XP? |

Answer» Ok, here it goes. My cousin downleaded some crazy virus and I have to totally Erase my hard drive and reload windows xp program. I had to install EVERY program including my CABLE modem and printer as well. Before the problem I ran at 12mps now I am showing 100 but it takes forever. I have issues with online "patch" updates for my games that I never had. keeps saying I am not connected to the internet when I try and patch. also I CANT seem to download movies with utorrent anymore. I can browse websites, read my email, ect. I dont know how to restore my computer and get it running properly. Please Help me??Did you visit microsoft update after you installed Windows? If not, do it now and get all of your updates. Im at a LOSS.. lolClick Start then Run and enter: devmgmt.msc This will take you to Device Manager. Do you see any yellow question marks or exclamation points? If so, then you will need a driver for that device. I suspect your USB drivers need to be installed. When you bought your computer it should have came with a driver disk. Do you have it? |
