that is how my HD are set up....but i've tried to reinstall windows it wont let me i have a copy on floppy that should work but its not fully legal..but i kno a site i can pull a code off they really dont check 98 that much (i kno) so that shouldnt be an issue thx 4 all ur help..but i dont SEE how thats gonna fix it i do have one messed up file in widows but it should cause this much trouble u kno what i mean?...i'll try many thxWell good luck. we don't do warez and cracks here, and you never KNOW what you're  getting with illegal downloads, but have fun.  1. i kno what im doing

5. u've been a big help dont kno what i WOULD have done  >:(ok its not letting me remove it should i go in and take out everything that its connected to or what?? it KEEPS telling me that i cant it say that it is a part of a multi-function device and cannot be removed indepndently...so waht now??? im gonna see waht i can come up w/but yeah...ideas???
