Answer» i am trying to start up my computer and when i do it does not get past verification. i keep getting the message " error loading operating system". what do i do? i am a novice when it comes to this part of the computer. when the computer boots up i SEE the bios info, then the drive info, i have difficult time getting to the bios INFORMATION (thought maybe something would be there that was useful), computer does not load past the verification screen-i get the above message. F8 hasnt worked yet. i even got the spotmua cd. i have tried RELOADING WINDOWS xp but cant get PASSED f8 to accept the agreement.a little more info would helppress F8 when restarting and try safe mode
