Answer» I am running xp pro with SP2 on my laptop. Water got on my keyboard so half of it doesn't WORK so I use a different ONE. I just tried to change my PASSWORD to one that I can TYPE into the laptop keyboard and now, whatever I did, it wont take the new or old password. What can I do? tictwac ...... Is this the machine you just formatted and reinstalled windows on ? dl65 I last reinstalled windows (from a hidden partition BACKUP from factory) about 2 months ago tictwac ....... Have you tried going into safe mode and resetting the password that way ? dl65 I dont know how to do that.
