Answer» I am trying to load windows xp Pro on a new computer. I have changed the BIOS to boot from disk. I have formated the c partition but when the COMPTER REBOOTS after the fifteen seconds it starts to boot straight from the windows disk again. I have changed the boot to the hardrive but still no windows screen to enter the CD code. Please someone help before this destroys my will to live.Is this a genuine WIndows CD? If so, the format runs smoothly into the install. There is no reboot required at that point. Please confirm what you are working with and EXACTLY what you are doing.
