Answer» alright. so i check this comp thats a friends out cause its not working. clean up the 54 viruses on it and it STILL goes slow. now i restarted and it won't start up. just a BLACK screen and on the TOP left it looks like it wants me to TYPE something but can't. oh and no system beeps. well it didn't do that before anyways. its a compaq S4000NX. I think its the processor because it was going very very slow for everything I tried to do. even safe mode. any help would be appreciated. thanks.hey i just tried to boot from a cd. it was loading the cd and then the black screen again.If you unplug the hard drive do you get any beeps?ok FIGURED it out. had to reset all the default bios settings. |
