Solve : Help! My computer needed validating and I tried bypassing it...?

Answer»

Okay, I bout my main computer, the tower kind, from a guy that built it about year ago. It was built as a gaming pc, so it has plenty of speed and memory and that stuff, haha. The problem is, is that WINDOWS asked me to validate my XP Home. I COULDNT validate, a friend to my mother in law does alot with computers, does something with telecomunications, anywhoo, he gave me a CD that was suppose to bypass the validation process so that I could participate with all the forums I was on online. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllllllllllll lllllllllllllllllllllllll, it didnt work, now my computer will load up to that screen where when you log out it allows you to pick which user to log into, and when I click the only one there, me, it says, I forgot, been a bit, something LIKE "Windows could not validate" and wont go any further. I got a Windows XP Home cd from my mom and it wont spin the cd to load up, what can I do?You modified the core files of Windows, of course there was a chance that it wasn't going to work.

Reinstall Windows, and when you need to activate it, call Microsoft, tell them what you did, and they will give you a new code.

We cannot assist you in bypassing the validation in Microsoft. Will they not try and charge me, I am cheap, haha, well, trying to get off cheap. As long as you have a legal copy of XP they should not charge you to help validate your code, but ZYLSTRA is right, you do need to reinstall and give MS a call
