When trying to defrag my computer .When I try to click on defrag it has a message can't open. Can anyone help? When all else fails, post the "exact" message you're receiving... Broni,I tried what you said, but received the message that the chkdsk/p/r isn't reconized as internal or external command.Evidently the defraging file is gone. What else is suggested.Even tried in search, and can't find it. It doesn't work. I explain why, because there IS NO DEFRAG ICON or file there. It is called Disk Defragmenter, AND it's a shortcut to the Management CONSOLE Snapin. An easier method of doing so of course being to literally reference the snapin file itself, running a shortcut would require the inclusion of the LNK extension, and ADDITIONALLY the proper filename.Whatever... |
