Answer» Hello all,
Please Help, my Dell Latitude today I got the error message windows cannot START because the file is missing or corrupted "windows root system32 ntoskrnl.exe" please reinstall. So the first THING I tried was just to reinstall windows.
Turn on-f12-boot from disc-press enter...and I take my to the windows install screen I think
I pressed "set up windows xp now press enter" and then f8 to agree to the terms then it says "the following list shows the existing partitions and unpartioned space. to set up windows xp on the selected item press enter, to create a partition in the unpartioned space press c. to delete selected partition press d." I deleted all the partioned space and created a new unpartioned space. When it goes through the formating phase it says stops and gives me an error message and tells my windows shut down to PROTECT my computer.
What do I do??
Hi,
Sorry to hear your having computer issues. If you can give US the exact wording of the error it would be of great help. This is before setup starts... ACTUALLY setting up on the drive, then?
