Answer» I have an HP desktop with windows XP home edition.I also have fast access,but it is ery slow.I've run virus scans,defragmenter and cleaned out EVERYTHING I don't need,but it is still crawling like a snail.Should I reformat it,as I have nothing on it that is important.Which one is slow, computer or internet?The pc is very slow,I checked with ISP provider and they said problem was with my computer.I ran the CCleaner,yahoo antispy,malwarebytes anti malware and unistalled programs I didn't need with the revounistaller and add or remove programs.The pc is around 5 tp 6 yrs. old,would it make it faster if I reformatted it?I even defragmented and cleaned out cookies and internet files.I have nothing important on this pc and was wondering if reformatting it would help.It is an Hp pavillion desktop and works fine,but is slow as a turtle ,or snail.reformatting would help.
