Someone please help. I have windows XP and about every half hour i get windows POPPING up every where all over the screen. It seems to only happen while im surfing the internet. Is there anyway to stop this from happening? It will last for about a minute and then EVERYTHING will stop popping up and things will be fine! any help will be appreciated! thanks!--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do you know why Windows xp will have windows appearing and popping up
all over the screen MOMENTARILY all over the place for minutes on end?

This happens and I just stare
at the multitude of windows in amazement. Up down. All over. Left. Right.
The windows are just popping up and going away in seconds. After a few
minutes, Windows calms down and I can get back to my surfing but until
then, I have to PATIENTLY wait for them to stop.

Do you know if there is a known reason or fix for this problem on Windows?

I think there is a clue in this link. They recommend Trend Microscan to remove the spyware.

also sounds like spyware or malware...or virus.

try running some protection programs.Run in safe mode by hitting F8 at the start up screen....
