Hi, im trying to view pictures (In windows photo gallery) i have taken from my memory card it lets me view the first few then the screen goes all weird with black and WHITE lines then the screen goes black and i have to reboot whole computer!! Its now coming up at the bottom Display driver not working properly and it was recovered? Its also happening when im trying to view a video file using MEDIA player.

the computers running on vista and the graphics card is a Radeon x800 gto i did think this was the problem but i have updated the drivers and still no luck!

PROCESSOR; Intel (R) Pentium (R)4 Cpu 3.40GHz
Ram - 2.00GB

Cdrive is 32.2GB and 11.4 GB is free

Any HELP WOULD be much appreicated!

Have you tried the onboard video to see if it exhibits the same behaviour ? ?

This will tell you whether it's the card's fault or not...just with the windows update thing! Sorry im not very good with this sort of thing! On board video do you media player?
