Solve : HELP PLEASE files deleted?? |

Answer» PLEASEhelp me For the past couple months I've been using the "computer administrator" user on my laptop. It said that it was the default setting for when there was no other users created. Today I made my own user and I'm guessing the "computer administrator" ACCOUNT was deleted because its not there anymore. I cant find any of the pictures or documents that were saved on that account. IM hoping someone can help me recover them. I have an HP laptop and im using Windows XP. I'm 16 years old and cant take the computer anywhere to have it looked at. ILL be happy to clarify anything. Thanks in advance !! You can still log in to this account, it's just hidden. You shouldn't use this account ANYWAY, so it's good that you made your own. To log into this account, type admin as the user name and whatever password it has on the login screen. Then you can copy the files you want to a memory stick or something, or straight into where you want them to be from the admin account. Hope this helps.Thank You it helped a little BIT. Where do I type in admin? Do I create a new account? When I tried tried to make a new account named "administrator" it said one already existed. So I'm guessing that means its the hidden acountname. It only gives me the option of signing in as guest or my account. So I don't know where I should go?
