Hello,

I have been having a problem with my computer and I cannot FIGURE it out. I try to install a program and the window will pop up and start like normal, but then it just disappears. Anyone have any clue?

RSVPOkay sorry, I have a Dell I bought in 02. It has XP home on it, Intel pent 4 1.8ghz . I get no error MESSAGE or ANYTHING the program just dis apprears in the MIDDLE of the install. It has been going on for a while, but I need to get some things installed and can't. Well now that I think about it, the problem started after I reinstalled XP. I was having problems with the computer so I wiped the hard drive and reinstalled XP.Did you also install all of the windows updates?No I have been trying to install sp2 and this is what happens.Does Windows Update work?I am not sure I have not tried in a while cause I have dial up. With the sp2 thought it install up to the point of the "install.exe" and it disappears.Hey Thanks TheEmperor!! I checked the updates and after 2 hours of updating it works now!!! !!!!!
