Solve : HELP! Problem with desktop.?

Answer»

After booting up and going into my user, my desktop disappears (including my icons and taskbar except for the background) after a minute unless i use a program that has to do with the desktop like properties. If i dont use a program associated with the desktop then the things disappear and nothing is clickable on the desktop and clicking the start button on my keyboard does not bring up the start menu.
i have never seen this problem b4 CAN ANYONE HELP!?!?!Did Active Desktop get turned on by accident ? ?im not sure BUT sumtimes when i have properties on it flicks to a screen that says Active Desktop Recovery and a bunch of other information i dont know off the TOP of my head cept for : Windows haas experienced an unknown error and gives information on how to get the background backGo to Start/Run and type in sfc /scannow and hit Enter...
