you MEAN...like a pre-set signature on documents?

that...isn't exactly the same as COMPUTER profiles.I agree with JXY. Removing the profile might not get rid of the signature and you may be stuck with it forever without that account.

Can you tell us what printer you have?In WINDOWS EXPLORER, in C:\Documents and Settings, what username is listed? Yours, or the other guy?
If the other guy, it can't be changed without reinstalling Windows.
I know exactly what it is, a signature or a profile. But whenever I print something, on the bottom of the page appears something like Canon/XYZ/document1.doc, where XYZ is the name of the user.

How do I get that XYZ to be replaced with my name or profile? Beside, in documents and settings, there is a folder for XYZ, like there is for the current users on the computer, Administrator and guest. Thats what leads me to believe its a profile

if you're talking about word documents, could the previous user be using MS Word's Letter Wizard or one of its default templates?

and, is your account also an administrator? if so, did you install your printer software using your account?

if not, then perhaps you might want to try re-installing the printer software using your account. just another thought...

also, there might be a built in SETTING in your printer software, which automatically prints the directory of the file at the bottom of the document?
