Solve : HELP! With "Log on to Windows"? |
|
Answer» I have an old computer from work that I am trying to use at home. It has WINDOWS 2000Professional and when I turn it on, I get the Log on to Windows screen that asks for user name, password and Log on to:.... if your work gave it to you then have them reset itYh , stepped on my feet there I wish it was that easy. Our IT guy moved out of state and we have to pay a support person from another agency to fix our computer problems. I wonder if I had the startup disk or something I could do it that way?? Thanks for working with me on this.If you have your data backed up a format and CLEAN install is the way to go here... And if I am not able to find the one I need, is there any other way that i would be able to fix this problem without? Again, appriciate the help..................KA startup disk is a set of floppies that will get you into a DAMAGED OS...they will not repair or re-install Win2K. You need a Win2k CD that says Microsoft all over it. Ask The IT people from work...they should have a few. |
