Answer» Hello yall, got a problem just got a free computer its a dell dimesion 8100 and i have no way of getting the password!!! been trying the ophcrack boot disk but for some reason it doesnt wanna run from the cd drive even when i set the boot method, it wont even read the windows install cd i got i TRIED putting a new cd/dvd rw drive in there but its not loading(and i know it WORKS). the drives spin the cds like its reading but nothing happens. what can i do? can i reformat the hard drive and then try like that but dont even think that would work any help i would appreciate. also tried to put the HDD on my compaq to get password can i install from my compaq and then put the drive back into the dell, i have no idea what to do.Quote can i install from my compaq and then put the drive back into the dell, i have no idea what to do. Yah, just take the drive out of your compaq, put the dell drive in and then boot *******-. If it doesn't work then just put the old drive back in your compaq.
