Solve : Help with .net framework 3.0? |
|
Answer» OK, so I'm trying to get the .net framework 3.0 up and running (specifically to satisfy a prerequisite for "Games for Windows LIVE"). Unfortunately, it fails every time when attempting to install "Microsoft Communication Foundation" (error code 1603). (according to them, it's because of corrupted previous .net framework installations, which I disproved). How did you disprove this?Try This...Quote from: mroilfield on February 06, 2009, 02:26:23 AM Quote from: ZeroSignal on February 06, 2009, 12:35:47 AMWell, not overall, but for my situation. I guess I phrased that poorly.(according to them, it's because of corrupted previous .net framework installations, which I disproved). I did everything Microsoft recommended to CORRECT the situation (including using the file patio linked), but it made no difference. It just continues to give me the same error. I even dug up a program that cleans ALL versions of .net framework from the machine (every last trace), for a fresh install, but STILL no luck. NOTE: I have no issues with any other .net framework versions, just 3.0 and later.Try doing the above in SAFEMODE... |
