Hi, I got window xp , few days ago, I was connected the philips spz2000 web cam to my computer, after I was DOWNLOADED the driver, the computer SHUT down suddenly and couldn't start again , then i was decided to reload the system, however, when it was start to copy the files,the message came up, it was said that it couldn't copy the files, I either to try again or skip to copy the files, I had tried to do both and the result were same, I couldn't continue to reload the system. Please help! Thank you.Are you SAYING you want to format the drive and install XP from scratch? If that's the case, boot to your XP CD, delete the partition, recreate it, format and install.Thanks for your replied, I did what you ADVICE, however, when it was trying to format, the message was keep saying couldn't copy the files and couldn't carry on reload the system, can you think of anything to solve the problem?Has the hard drive been dropped? What is the model of your computer? You might have to take the hard drive out and format it with a working computer to see what happens....Are you booting to the CD? Is it an original, retail XP CD?
