Solve : Help with why Xp won't run?

Hi just WANDERING both operating systems. Xp and 98 I have tried to install on my Toshiba satelite pro A300D. I can't run them tho it almost loads up Xp but the Icon comes up. But before the bar loads it exits. PRIOR to that I had installed Ubuntu but CHOSE to go to Xp please help. The only way I COULD unistall Ubuntu was to do a killdisk worried it deletd some key things needed to run Xp. ThanksAre the disks the ones for the laptop?

Toshiba is very propietary.  Try downloading the correct drivers from the Toshiba site.What exactly are you trying to accomplish here ? ?
That machine shipped with Vista pre-installed...
