i had use command prompt, bt some file also cannot be shown my file name is Movie & Video, i had wrote
(exp1)
C:\users\users\ATTRIB -a -h D:\Movie & Video
(result)'Video' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file :-[what can i do to OPEN this file??

(exp2)
C:\users\users\attrib -a -h D:\LAVENS's Pictures
(result) Parameter format not correct -

Why not SIMPLY use Windows search to find the file ? ?

The beautiful thing about command prompt is that if there is just 1 error it won't let you do what you are trying to do...this is called a learning curve...the file name is correct~ can u teach me hw to unhide the files?? i cannot search the files bcoz the files is already hidden~pls help~~ C:\users\users\attrib -a -h D:\Movie & Video is a wrong command
You need atrrib command, plus switches, plus folder/file path
Folder/file name must be in 8.3 format.
In your case:

attrib -a -h D:\Movie&~1You must use quotes around a file name with spaces like this

attrib -h "Cats and dogs.txt"
