Answer» My COMPUTER is having some problems and is being slow. I'm running Windows XP. Anyway I NOTICED that my CPU usage STAYS at 100%. It will come down to 8 and then shoot right back up. COULD this be why I'm so slow? If so how do I fix it? I have a Compaq Presario with a 2.8 GHz celeron and 760 MB Ram. I've ran checks for viruses and spyware and nothing came up. Thanks in Advance. In Task Manager, what process is taking up all the processing power?
