Answer» and then make it so the computer never asks me to install them again?
I have windows 7, and occasionally the computer asks me to install windows 7 service pack 1 or a video driver or something. I have installed the windows 7 SP and also the video driver update. Everytime the video driver update happens, my video becomes low resolution, so how do I prevent this update from ever appearing in the updates list again? I havent had any problems since I downloaded the windows 7 SP, but if there ever is one, then Id like to uninstall it and prevent it from ever being installed again. How do I do that 1) NEVER install drivers from Windows Update. Drivers should always be obtained from the OEM websites. 2) Right-click on any update you don't WANT to see again and select "Hide"Also turn off Automatic Updates... It will STILL notify you of new ones and you can review/reject them as you go...oh thanks GUYS. The right click of an update and CHOOSING hide worked.
