my home excite home page has items on it that come up that i dont want.
how do i get rid of them?
the items are not in CONTENTS selection menuNo many here use http://www.excite.com/
So you will have to explore what help they offer.
Be aware that some programs may consider excite to be a intrusive site and will block it or some of its features.
Not to my personal knowledge, somebody else SAID that on some other forum.
Do a Google search with keywords that would describe you problem in brief.

You'll have to maneuver around the page and see what you can and cannot change. We can't MAGICALLY do things that aren't supported by the web site.However you may be able to do so with running Firefox and Adblock PLUS as an extension....depends on how the page is built...
