I committed the cardinal "Save" instead of "Save As" SIN on one of my Excel spreadsheets and lost quite a bit of data. I tried the Control F1 trick to see if it would bring up older documents as well as searching for any backup files Window may have KEPT. Would a .bak file be found? I ALSO tried restoring my computer to the day before, but that didn't work either.
I can't think of anything else to try, so I was looking into the Active File Recovery program. Is anyone familiar with the program and do you think it will give me what I need, or am I SOL? If so, which VERSION of the program would best suit my needs?
