Answer» Ok, guys here is the STORY! I installed a nanny cam in my home. This cam is plugged into my USB Port, via a USB DVR BOX. The nanny has access to the computer. The software for the cam is hidden and password protected. Here is the PROBLEM the device shows up in “my computer” as a USB Cam. When you click on the USB icon for the cam you can get snapshots from that cam. So back to the question, “Is there anyway to HIDE devices that are plugged into the USB Port?” All physical connections are hidden, cam, wires, lights, ect. Computer access is part of the deal for the nanny. Also, I don't intend to get another computer or laptop. So you WANT to video ths nanny without her knowledge? Is this camera in the shower by any chance? :-/^ lol . i was wondering that myself!!The guys just wants to make sure his nanny's not being abusive to the Kid's or Stealing
My dad owned a CCTV company, you wouldn't believe the kinda stuff people do when they don't know theres a camera
I don't know if you can Hide devices tho... i might google it a bitSeems to me a good solution would be to do what you don't want to do, buy another computer and connect the webcam to it.
