i was just wonderin if there is any way to change the appearance of the welcome screen, the default welcome screen is too high contrast for my liking, hence the fact i use the "classic" theme, which reminds me of another question: how do i modify the windows XP theme? i cant modify it like i can windows classic, which is really annoying. if anyone knows anything about either of my questions, please post... thanks...try this LINK http://www.majorgeeks.com/BootSkin_d4072.html

there you can changethanks man   that high contrast CRAP is annoying at times... especally when i first wake up and my eyes havnt adjusted yet, and then it pops up and nearly blinds me... now all i need to do is FIGURE out how to modify the xp theme...


EDIT: i forgot to mention, when i DL'd it, it was going at like 450k a second, through my wireless CARD, but it only took like 2 seconds to DL so i cant say if the speeds would have held... even still, i have NEVER seen this card go that fast on this connection, or my home connection...
