Answer» I have a HP DESK top with XP MEDIA edition installed. It had XP pro installed later and it is still installed. According to HP there is a HIDDEN PARTITION that can be accessed by pressing F10 on start up to do system recoverys. They did not ship CD recovery disks with new computers.Nothing happens when I do that .The computer starts as if nothing is pressed.I do get the BIOS with F1 or F11. I have tried the alternate access through the program tools and it is not there either.Is there any other way of accessing the hidden partition?I am wanting to try a destructive recovery.Whoever installed XP Pro could have formatted a whole drive and maybe you don't have recovery partition anymore.
