Solve : How do I access my computer remotely.?

Answer»

My hombase COMPUTER is a desk top, connected to cable (LAN) access.  How can I access it when I am on the road with my laptop and at a wifi  hotspot?  I have read as much as I can get on the net.  I know my computer IP add.  but I have had no luck so far.    Any help would be  much appreciated.  tks  JimI believe this is one of the most popular choices

You can also do a "google" search on remote access to computing    Take a LOOK at this also: LogMeIn Free 2.20.475I DONT know the difference between these maybe a few added features file share and all... it from LogMeIn too

Hello,FB Just following you around again friend.BwaHaHaHa!

I ain't affraid of no ghost!
FB  I want to use laptop as remote to access desktop at home.  However, I onlyhave XP home ed (2002)

What were those last two entries all about ? ? ?use logmein (logmein.com)

saved me many times from forgetting to print out my essaysas mentionded before logmein and also PCanywhere

but I think PCanywhere cost $ ... may be worth it to you... I've never used either... I like winVNC but I'm not sure how to use it over the internet or if you can...

not a lot out there other than the listed... try to google "remote desktop over internet"Is wangming starting polls now???You can use RealVNC or tightVNC, both are free. Install the VNC server on your home machine and the VNC client, also called VNCViwer on your laptop.
Takes some configuration but it's not difficult. you will need to know your home IP address.

Byes but can you use these over the internet or just inside your network...
