Answer» AOL techs had 5 different answers that did not work. The printer company (HP) did not know, (or speak English) Microsoft said it cant be done. This is my last HOPE. It seems there would be any easy way to turn off the footers (reads empty, but still there). It prints out on both AOL text, emails, & on internet ALONE. BobPlease try to explain it again. I don't understand. Start from the beginning of the situation. The date, email address, PAGE no. on the bottom of all printouts shows up, there is a way to delete it, but Microsoft said there is no way,,,,etc. Changed from URL to empty on footer setup, but still appears. After dealing with Aol, Microsoft, & HP, I cant beleive there no one knows how to delete it.If you're talking about websites, use this: http://www.printfriendly.com/print?url=aol.comThanks for the help, but the icon would not move to drag it up like it said, and would not allow me to add it to favorites.Okay.
1) Is this a web browser or email client? 2) What is the website (if you're talking about a website)? 3) What icon do you mean? 4) Favourites?
Please answer those as BEST you can.Have you tried the Print preview window YET > > If AOL has that setting, it should be under "File" / "Print Setup" in the menu bar. Look for any reference to headers or footers. (Internet Explorer and Firefox both have the setting you are looking for in their own print setup windows but since I do not have the AOL browser, I can only guess.)It's the actual website that decides what is displayed on a print preview.
