Solve : How do I get rid of Windows Defender??

In a post to Safetyfirst you said disable Windows Defender.  Please tell me where I can find Windows Defender and how do I disable it.  It is listed in the Control Panel but when I click on it I am TOLD it is running but there is nothing about disableing it.  I am running Windows  7  64 bit.

Please ignore my question.  I checked again and now Windows Defender is off.   I don't know what I did but the PROBLEM is solved.   Thanks  BobYou should SET the Windows Defender SERVICE to: Disabled
