Solve : How do i get windows xp running again?? |
|
Answer» I just installed a new motherboard, processor, video card, the whole 10 yards. I used the hard drive from my previous system which ran windows xp. after installing my motherboard and setting the bios, my system will not start up. it just keeps recycling to the same SCREEN. wut do i do?Have you re-installed Windows XP (Home/Pro?) since FITTING the drive? yes the drive is partitioned. Is it possible to reinstall it by changing my bios setting to boot the cd drive first? You could install to an empty partition so that you can recover the C: drive if you really need to. Otherwise with all that new hardware you should consider a clean-install. Are the partitons formatted to NTFS or to FAT32? If you have a FAT32 partition you could use a bootdisk and copy the I386 folder to it and then run winnt.exe |
