Hi

How do I keep my WINDOWS file listing the same in all windows?
I found this page here but it starts that I have to open the view window, well in my home version 7 there is no view item on top of the screen, the same in window help, more than 50% of the solutions there I CANT find step one on mij machine.
At the moment I'm reorganising some big collection of photo's, music files, and some more stuf, and I spend more time keeping the diretory layout as I want and need it than I do anything else.
The set I work on now has over 17.000 files over 655 folders, and in a way I have all the time I want, I'm retired, but I dont want to spend it controling an idiotic system.
Maybe not idiotic if one of you can tell me how I can from one spot change the layout of all these 655 folders.
Usualy I want only a listing with the file names, sometimes I want the REST of the information to, like filesize, date of made, change date etc.etc.
I for almost 30 years now with computers, my first one running under C/PM with an 8088 on 4,7 Mhz but this windows 7 is GETTING the better of me.
So if someone knows a solution please let me know.
