I am running Vista Home Basic 32 bit on an E MACHINE. I ran a backup onto a DVD. The DVD is: DVD + R. I know it worked correctly because when I go to start - computer - the message is: DVD RW Drive (E:) BOB-PC 5/16/2009 12:35 PM Disk 1. Now I want to run a restore. Without going into details of all the THINGS I have tried, let us say I can't get it to ask for the DVD. Now that I have the DVD how do I run a restore? Thanks Bob What did you use to create the backup? Vista Home Basic ?
