|
Answer» i downloaded an upgrade for my windows vista , it is a windows 7 upgrade also does it matter if it is a bit 64 , my present system of win vista is a bit 32 ?Yes, it matters. See http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/32-bit-and-64-bit-Windows-frequently-asked-questions for info. for one: 32 bit windows can't be upgraded to 64 bit windows. You'll need to do a clean (non-upgrading) installation if you want to get 64 bit windows on your computer.thanks for all your replies , i understand a bit more now however ,allan , how do i rename it to an .iso ? and do i run setup from the cd after i burn it ?? Follow the INSTRUCTIONS from this link ...., tells you how to rename a file's extensions so you can change your.img to .iso. 2. try rebooting your pc to your newly burnt cd and see if it bootup to the cd normally and GOES straight to the setup and its instructions for you.
