Inserting an image and attaching a file are two completely different things.N on image FILETYPES can be "ATTACHED" but they cannot be "inserted" Inserted images have to already be on a server somewhere but attachments can be directly uploaded from the local system. Inserted images can appear anywhere in a post but attachments are always tagged on to the end. Use the insert image button if you don't like using tags MANUALLY.

There aren't actually two ways to do it. Inserting an image and attaching a file are two completely different things.N
