You will have to purchase a modem that is a PCMCIA card (also called a PC Card):

Make sure there is a free PCMCIA slot on the laptop that will fit the card you buy. Also, be certain you purchase a PC Card modem that is for the kind of Internet CONNECTION you want (e.g. dial-up, DSL or cable).
