Solve : How to build a small image of Windows Embedded 7??

Answer»

I installed Windows Embedded 7 in my ECM-QM87 golden sample. It works fine, but I CHECKED its C drive Used Space and found 8.09G used. My PM told me only 500MB is allowed for the system image. How can I do? I remember I chose 'Application compatible' in beginning of installation. Should I
1. reinstall it and choose other type; such as THIN Client, ... to get smaller system image.
2. reinstall it and choose customized type, then choose few features to get smaller system image.
3. delete some unnecessary files to make it smaller. But what can I delete?

My computer is built for running a GUI program monitoring trains.
Is PM = Partition Magic or something else and are you trying to create an image on the same drive being imaged?

Board has 2 x SATA III I would attach a bare healthy drive to spare SATA port and pass image to 2ND physical drive vs trying to image a system on same drive between PARTITIONS, at 8.09G a 16GB SSD is too small etc.
