Answer» Hi! I was long time USER of WINXP... Now I began wok with Win8... I WANT to CHANGE DEFAULT ICON for not yet associated files and files without extension like I had it in WinXP... I don't want to use any customizers, TuneUp or other programs, better is e.g. using Registry Editor... Can anybody help me? Many many thanks for every help, reply or comments. MiroAdd a DefaultIcon key as a subkey of HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*, and set it's default value to the path to the icon you want to use. Hi! I CREATED it, restarted explorer and icons were not changed...
