Solve : How to disable ctfmon.exe in running processes?? (Resolved)?

Answer»

I have ended process in task manager and also in msconfig. But when I reboot, its back. How do I get it to stay disabled? I did a little research on it and it says it can be safely disabled if not needed as it does use system RESOURCES. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/282599Just for future reference in case ANYONE else needs to know how to get rid of ctfmon.exe. No need for all the confusing steps to try and follow at Microsoft. I did a simple online parse of HIJACKTHIS and it was all marked red and I had Hijackthis FIX it. Quite simple really. I had already found the info at Microsoft when I posted here but I was hoping for someone to be able to suggest an easier way. Anyway back to the point. You need to remove ctfmon.exe just use Hijackthis and fix it. Another way...
