hello i have black screen ,if i start in safe mode noting happens, it goes  to a buvers it bunch of drivers it LOOKS like on the next window that comes up. if windows starts up iy goes to a box that says   out of range  H31-54 HZ  V50-99HZ  pc display setting correct... I am not TRYING to be a wiseguy but I am having a little bit of a hard time understanding your message and hopefully I am understanding it correctly.

If windows resolution is say 1024x768 or 800x600 the default is 60 hrz. But you maybe talking about the box that comes up when you are starting the PC and the monitor will display the Hz at that time and after windows starts that message will go away and then the windows settings take over is that what you are talking about?
