Solve : How to identify backup program?

Answer»

I want to FORMAT my hard drive and re-install WIN XP. I have a backup on an external hard drive, but I have no idea what program I used to create the backup and therefore I can't figure out how to restore it. The backup FILES are identified with SCSIO if that's any help.
What's the difference? Just create a new backup of your critical data a go from there. What do you mean they're "identified with SCSIO"? How about a little more information as to the hardware (particularly the drive) in or connected to this computer. Quote from: quaxo on October 02, 2010, 08:18:26 PM

South CHINA Sea Institute of Oceanology?
Does NovaBACK SCSI/EIDE Workstation Edition 6.7 sound familiar? Quote from: Salmon Trout on October 04, 2010, 12:55:18 AM

While that was a common result in my search, I did manage to find some references to SCSIO in relation to hard drives, but nothing relevant to the situation.Probably SCSI0 (zero, not O) Quote from: BC_Programmer on October 08, 2010, 11:42:51 AM

YEAH, I kinda figured that's what he/she meant. They haven't been back since making the post, so maybe they sorted it out.
