Answer» Hi there: What application/program are you TALKING about? What Windows version do you have?Windows XP Professional. The properties dialog BOX that appears when you right-click a file in the windows explorer...Think you mean this tab FOUND on properties of a file. This screen shot is from Windows 2000, but I think it is the same in XP. Sorry, I don't know how to turn it on. Found it! Check and see if the registry has this: Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER Key: Software\Microsoft\windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer Name: Nosecuritytab Type: REG_DWORD Value: 1 That would keep the tab off. Just hack away at it, but you should have a backup of the registry just in case. I want to turn it on. I once did it, and I didn't have to hack the registry.
