Solve : HOW TO OPEN CLOSED WINDOW?

Answer»

Hi guys after turning on my computer i see only the BACKGROUND .how can i open my window and use it.thanksAre you saying that the OS shell is been removed or corrupted or infected?

Can you Ctrl+Alt+Del...

Start Task Manager > File > Run

Type: Explorer.exe
and press enter to get it back?

If not, try...

Ctrl+Al+Delete navigate to File -> New Task (Run) -type there "sfc /scannow"
Use your Windows CD if requested to restore files.

or

Try running chkdsk /f if your hard drive has been corrupted.

or

Check this registry key (running REGEDIT) if "explorer.exe" is listed there.(delete if it is there, then REBOOT)
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\explorer.exe]
A nice joke viruses can do easily on Microsoft. Run anti-virus SCANNER afterwards.
1) What happens when you boot to SAFE mode?
2) What led up to this (before the problem appeared did you install new hw or sw? Was there a virus or an error?)?Hi teshe,

If you have trouble bringing up task manager you can also use the Ctrl + Shift + Esc key combination to bring up task manager. As described by Azzaboi, have the applications tab selected, then click on new task and type in explorer.exe then hit enter.

If the problem occurred because of a malware attack an excellent free anti-malware application is Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. A google search will bring up their homepage.hi guys,
