In Microsoft Word 2003 I did this: View menu - Normal, Edit menu - Select All, FORMAT menu - Borders and Shading, Shading tab, choose No FILL, click OK. Thank you very much "I knew that!" must have forgot lol. I see you ACTUALLY did say what Word version you were using, I didn't see it the first time.
