Solve : how to set "list" as default in explorer??

Answer»

Hello,

I use Windows XP.
When I use the explorer and open a directory, all the subdirectories appear by default as Icones. I would LIKE that the default be "list" and not "icones". Of COURSE, for a specific directory, I can use RIGHT click-->view-->list, but I am TIRED to do that and I want the DEFAULT view be "list". How can I do that?

Thanks,
Michael.View, List should do that. Or your Windows doesn't have that?View--> list do that but for the SPECIFIC directory from which I set this property.
I want my explorer be configured such that when I open ANY directory, it display
the files and subdirectories as "list".

M.Set up ONE the way you like it then Tools>Folder Options>View>Like Current Folder + Reset All FoldersThank you a lot Guru.

M.
